What are the Highest paying Jobs for the next decade? Well, chances are you could probably guess hat of the top 20 most of the positions are occupied by those in the medical field. If you guessed Physicians or surgeons, you would be correct. If you included in your guess people in the legal profession surprisingly, you would be only partly correct. Judges are listed among the top 20 jobs, but your run of the mill attorneys is not.

We did a pretty exhaustive search of what jobs would be the most sought after and highest paid and of those jobs we found that a Chief Executive of a company was listed at around number 15 on the list established by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Even more exciting was that many of our readers would fall into this category.

Top Execs plan strategies and policies to ensure that an organization meets it goals. They work in all business environments in companies large and small, with hectic schedules and long hours. No wonder they get paid so well.

In small organizations the CEO might do the hiring, training, and day to day supervisory duties. In larger organization typically focus on formulating policies and planning strategies.

Qualifications

Typically, a business Executive has achieved a B.A. degree. In many cases this person is the founder of the company and may have no formal education. Problem-solving Skills- When faced with multiple choice to a given set of circumstances the top executive must be able to way the pros and cons and make key decisions.

Time-management Skills- Top Executives needless to say, juggle many projects at the same time. They must be able to organize and prioritize these items simultaneously.

Pay

In 2019, the average annual pay for a Chief Executive was $184, 460.
